Western Digital opens Regional Hub at Jebel Ali

Trident Freight wins the contract for Hub and repair return management

Trident Freight, the International forwarding arm of UAE based Rais Hassan Saadi Group and also the exclusive partner in UAE to global logistics giant Geologistics has won the contract to manage the regional hub and repair return process for Western Digital.

Western Digital, one of the world's five top manufacturer of hard disk drives, has demonstrated it's commitment to customer service in Middle east by opening a distribution centre, which will ensure rapid delivery of it's products throughout the region. This initiative from Western Digital will make the company to be the first hard disk manufacturer to have both sales office and Distribution Hub in the region.

We are really excited at this opportunity and this contract further consolidates our leadership in providing value added logistics through efficient integration of logistics services and seamless Distribution chain through advanced IT systems.

This would mean that all the current direct shipments going to the region from various Western Digital factories would now flow through our Distribution centre at Jebel ali. This clearly demonstrates the rapidly changing global supply chain and our continued investment in state of the art logistics infrastructure further compliment these opportunities for Dubai's economic development.
